Sauvignon Blanc, Mount Nelson 2021

Nakon dugogodišnje proizvodnje jedinog Sauvignona Blanc na Tenuta dell’ Ornellaia, markiz Lodovico Antinori želio je da napravi vino iste hrskavosti, prirodne živosti grožđa, a pokazujući uzdržanost, strukturu i nagovještaj stare svjetske elegancije.  Okrenuo se ka Marlborough, Novi Zeland, a rezultat je Mount Nelson, koji nudi note slatkog tropskog voća, posebno grejpfruta i breskve, pomiješane sa prigušenim svježim herbalnim notama. Suvo, sa prijatnim osjećajem u ustima, hrskavo, izbalansirane kiselosti, dobre postojanosti i bistrog i čisnog završnog kusa. Dobro se uparuje sa svim vrstama morskih plodova i školjki.

After producing a singular Sauvignon Blanc at Tenuta dell’ Ornellaia for many years, Marchese Lodovico Antinori wanted to make a wine that captured the same crisp, natural exuberance of the grape, while displaying restraint, structure and a hint of old world elegance.  He turned to Marlborough, New Zealand, and Mount Nelson is the result.  The wine offers notes of sweet tropical fruits, notably grapefruit and peach, mixed with floral and underlying fresh herbal notes. Dry with a pleasant mouthfeel, crisp, balanced acidity, good persistence and a clean, pure finish.  Pairs well with all kinds of seafood and shellfish.
