"Velika vrijednost!" 91 bodova - Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate

Ukusi crvenog voća i mineralni nagovještaji dugotrajno završavaju.

"Great value!" 91 points - Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate

The grapes for this wine were harvested by hand when they reached optimal ripeness is each single vineyard.  They were then transported to the winery in small boxes for a soft pressing.  The result is a wine with clean, high-intensity aromas of red fruit such as raspberry, strawberry and red cherry, as well as black pepper and earthy notes.  On the palate it is dry and fresh, with soft tannins and medium body.  Red fruit flavours and mineral hints frame a long finish.  Ideal as an accompaniment to cured ham, stews, game and meat dishes.  Serve between 16 and 18 C.

Vina Zorzal, which has just celebrated its 30th anniversary, is located in the heart of Navarra’s Ribera Baja, in the centuries-old village of Corella.  Their Garnacha vineyards are in the hills, between the Ebro Valley and Iberian mounmtains:  bush vines at higher altitude, a continental climate and stony soil.  The wine is a result of their clear commitment to local grapes as well as a concern for the environment through the use of organic production techniques.
